Had 4 days in Berlin - quite a place.

Tough Couple Days

Yo kick it - as my good friend Shaun would say...

So most of the guys split today to be faced with 24 inches ( I kid you not!!) of snow to go home to up in New Hampshire so all there flights were cancelled last night and general pissed offness and stressing hit. Despite all that we had "Fusion" food which I can safely say is the most bizarre dinner I have ever had. Delicious but like nothing I have ever had before. Heston Blumenthal (aka Dipshit) would have loved it.

So today has been tough again lounging on the beach. Been a bit windy and cloudy though and now I am stressing about what to have for my dinner!! It's hard this.... Did manage to buy Mrs. O couple of lovely presents though so I do feel like I have done a days work.

Hey again. You know, the guys here are great and have made me feel really welcome which is very very cool. Had a lot of fun today and these guys are stand out funny. really enjoying time getting to know them and this is not an arse kissing message but genuine!!

Oh - and last but not least - had to explain why I found the word "Dogging" funny in its context. Doesn't mean the same in American. Seriously - these guys here - hilarious!!

I got here...... Long day yesterday left home at 8am and got here at 2am London time. Ok, so I've only seen the hotel in the dark but so far.... (and I'm a proper hotel snob!!) holy crap, it's stunning and only seen one part of it. They know how to do hotel entrances down here as all the hotels on the strip have very elaborate drive entrances but this one blows the rest out of the water. Never been checked in like that before where you're just made to feel like royalty. My room is the size of my flat and the bed the size of my bedroom. Shame that Jo not here to share it all but as mentioned before I'll try and enjoy anyway!!

So a few pics so far - plane at Heathrow yah di yah, views from said plane of mighty chilly Canada and edge of Lake Ontario, Hot Springs National Park. Then we've got view from my bathroom, the room itself and the terrace. And then the most amazing room service breakfast I've ever had!!!!

2011 Trips So Far

And we're up and running again....

I think I'm going to rename this to Duncs' Epic Work Jaunts at this rate!! So far in 2011 it's been Portsmouth, NH and tomorrow I'm jetting off to Dallas for a couple of hours and then on to Cancun in Mexico staying here - http://rivieramaya.grandvelas.com/ for 5 nights. Not bad hey and this all stems from hitting targets in 2010. Its been hard work but man I think it's gonna be worth it.

Very sad that Mrs. O can't join me but she'll be there in spirit jumping every wave with me and chilling every chilled minute with me too!! Sorry hon...... I'll miss you and be home soon xx

So - early Jan was here -

Portsmouth New Hampshire on a beautiful but stupidly cold day. Fab place settled in 1620 I'm guessing by residents from Portsmouth in (Yup you guessed it) Hampshire UK. So this became part of New Hampshire north of New York! How DO they come up with these names huh?? Hmm.....

Tomorrow off to Mexico on 11.50 flight from LHR Terminal 5 to Dallas Fort Worth (9 hr flight) landing at 14 00 US time. Then 2 hour wait and 2 1/2 hr flight to Cancun arriving at 19.30 Mexico time or 3.30 am UK time!! Ah well - means I get to crash on the beach for 5 days so I'll put up with it!!

Ok - all for now but will be back up Saturday with more for your perusal - love that word!!
