Last Day In Singapore

Hot is how I will remember Singapore and great fun as well. Sentosa basically a mini disneyland (getting ready for Deantours!!) and great fun and rest of city lovely too. So clean and people really friendly and helpful (if you look like you want a tailored suit or a taxi). Cheers for advice Karlos, really helpful. Photos are the hotel, views of Singers from Sentosa and silosi beach where the volleyball is going on. Off to Perth tomorrow so will be back in touch then.

Day 1 - He's Only Gone And Finally Left!!!!

Well, the flight was superb from Heathrow to Singapore but serious lack of sleep. Think I got 2 hours but some of the views etc on way into Singers were lovely. Thunderstorms below us etc and looked amazing. Hotel is fab even though very corporate but I have attached some pics of day one for you all. It's now 17.30 Singers time and for me it's gone midnight due to sleep deprivation so don't think I'll be making the football tonight at 2.00 a.m.!!!! Someone let me know the score tomorrow......

Pictures above are plane I flew on (obviously), view out of my window (yup that's a bloody huge 747 wing) and clouds formations in the sunrise as we were descending to Singapore (and I haven't played with the colours either before you start....)

Right I'm off for some local scoff and then probably bed as I am about to headbutt the keyboard due to fatigue. Take care all and will update again in next couple of days.

Last Beer In Leamington With The Devil

Last night out before trip last night with young (yeah right!!!!) Mr. White (aka bealzebub himself - check the photo) as it was my birthday and god knows what beers he had bought but I don't recognise them....

A cracking night with the old boy putting the world to rights, condemning Blair and generally talking complete shite. A bit delicate this morning but heyho

Well I thought I should let you know my itinerary.....

Tuesday 22nd May - Depart Heathrow 12.15 landing in Singapore 08.00 on the 23rd - staying at the Hilton

Sunday 27th May - Depart Singapore 09.05 landing in Perth 14.10 then camper van for 3 weeks

Sunday 17th June - Depart Perth 11.35 landing in Sydney 17.35 then all over Sydney, Melbourne etc for couple of months

Wednesday 15th August - Depart Sydney 08.35 landing in Christchurch 13.35

Saturday 15th September - Depart Christchurch 14.45 landing in Brisbane 16.35

Saturday 13th October - Depart Brisbane 10.15 landing in Sydney 11.45 then depart Sydney 13.55 landing in San Francisco 10.15 same day?????? I'm going to be all over the place after that one

Saturday 17th November - Depart Los Angeles 08.25 landing in Orlando 16.00 for 2 weeks of being a complete child at the theme parks - yipdeedodah

Saturday 1st December - Depart Orlando 18.35 landing in Gatwick 07.35 - bbbooooooooo

So as you can see quite a complicated one and I can't wait. Very scared but reckon once I get to Sydney I'll be fine and will have loved the first four weeks.

Pre Trip Nerves

Well I go a week today and am nervous, full of trepidation and very excited all at the same time. Wierd combination I know but there you go. Have started the almighty task of packing the flat up and god it's dull but got to be done.

This is only the first entry and thanks to big dickie for helping me out in getting this set up (that's Rich by the way). A picture of me pre trip for you all to worship or just remember what I look like!!!! Also one of a cornish sunset cos I thought it was nice....
